From the Norwich Southern Bypass (A47), turn off at the exit with the A146 Lowestoft Road and follow signs for City Centre & Trowse. At the roundabout take the exit signposted Trowse. After approximately 450 metres take the left turning into Whitlingham Lane, this is also signposted ‘Ski Club’. This turning is opposite a church. Follow this lane for approximately 1.2 km past the boatyard until you reach a car park on the left.
There are environmental restrictions in place preventing general vehicles from coming down to the Boathouse so please use the car parks.
We can however accommodate Disabled Blue Badge holders and club boat trailers and vehicles for at the boathouse. If you wish to bring a trailer or vehicle to the boathouse please contact Clive on 07711409753 or firstname.lastname@example.org

There is limited free parking space on Whitlingham Lane, which by its nature is for early comers
Vehicle parking is available at any one of the 3 car parks, please make sure you pay as there are cameras at the entrance recording your registration, and Capita are good at issuing fines.
However, car park fees go towards the upkeep of Whitlingham Country Park. The Canoe Club has no control over the car parks, fees or terms and conditions.
There is a car park by the campsite for campers to park their vehicles.
Club Boat Trailers
Trailer parking will be available at the clubhouse, again it would be good to know who is bringing a trailer and if you are arriving on Saturday night or Sunday morning (contact Clive Tel: 07711409753 or email@example.com)
Cars CANNOT unload at the clubhouse, use the car parks and walk to the clubhouse via the lake pathway.
There is designated disabled parking, available very close to the Boathouse. Anybody requiring disabled parking should contact Clive on 07711 409753 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance to ensure a suitable space is reserved. Vehicle description and registration number is appreciated so we can spot you and direct you to your parking spot.
All races are on the river except Lightning events which will take place on the Great Broad. All portages will be on the river so this will be the best area to view the races. However, race views can be had all along the southern bank of the river. There are walking and cycling paths along the river.
