Jan and Gary can help with advice regarding the Nottingham Sprint regattas and our own sprint regatta and are normally at the Nottingham events supporting the club.
After racing his boys on an ergo at the 2012 Olympics they decided to have a go for real. A few weeks later they were racing for the club and Gary was still falling in but eventually he got it! It’s a great sport for a slightly broken ex rugby player trying to stay fit and in some kind of shape! Eventually he was persuaded to race for Norwich and he has now qualified as a coach. He helps look after the Sprint team so any questions on what its like as a beginner, what you can do to help yourself and how much fun it is please speak to Gary.
